How to tell the look is right
A cyberpunk background does not make an image look like Edgerunners. Check four things. The outlines are black ink with corners, thick outside the figure and thin inside. Colour is flat, with one hard-edged shadow per area and no soft gradients. Shadows are purple or teal, never black. The face is simplified: a small nose, large sharp eyes.
